Job description

Essential educational requirements

Degree in closely related Subject

Essential qualifications

Qualified teacher status.

Essential skills and experience

Evidence of at least good to outstanding teaching
Experience of teaching relevant subjects across the age range (11-18)
The ability to teach at GCSE and ‘A’ level and relevant vocational qualifications.
Evidence of very high standards of attainment and progress in the teaching of Health, Social and Care and/or Child Development
An understanding and application of ICT in Teaching and Learning
Ability to generate excellent relationships with pupils in order to foster a genuine work ethic with the highest standards
The ability to work under pressure
To be highly committed to comprehensive education with a focus to raising achievement of disadvantaged pupils.
