What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking to appoint an inspirational Teacher of History with a passion for accelerating progress within our Humanities Faculty. You will be joining a hard-working, well-qualified and very friendly group of teachers who want the Humanities subjects to be seen as lively and exciting. You will have the ability to teach History across the full age and ability range and will be able to enthuse, engage and motivate our students to achieve their full potential.
The ideal candidate will:
- Be an excellent History teacher who truly is passionate about the subject;
- Be a committed team player;
- Have the ability to engage and inspire pupils and build excellent relationships;
- Be committed to Felixstowe School's ethos;
- Be passionate and ambitious about their own career development.
This is an opportunity for an existing Teacher of History to further their development as part of a forward-thinking MAT to benefit from our supportive model for staff CPD and career development.
