Are you passionate about history and eager to inspire students with the stories of the past? Do you have the energy and vision to make a real impact on young minds? We are looking for an enthusiastic and forward-thinking Teacher of History to join our successful Humanities Department and shape the futures of our students. This position is full time, fixed term linked to maternity leave for up to one year.

In this role, you will be an integral part of our team, dedicated to bringing history to life in the classroom. We seek a dedicated professional who takes pride in their work and is committed to developing a curriculum that captivates students of all abilities. Your mission will be to create engaging lessons that foster a love for history, encouraging students to explore, understand, and appreciate the significance of historical events and perspectives.

As our new History Teacher, you will teach at Key Stage 5 at Chatham Grammar, where history is becoming increasingly popular within our UKAT sixth form. You will benefit from being part of a supportive network of colleagues and will have the chance to further develop your skills through collaboration with a diverse group of specialists, all while receiving guidance from your Subject Leader.
