Are you an enthusiastic, inspiring teacher who can bring History to life and create a nurturing learning environment, within which everyone can reach their full potential? If so, join the Humanities team at The Hundred of Hoo Academy as a Teacher of History and you will be part of a highly successful, experienced and supportive department.

It is essential that our successful candidate is confident and has experience in teaching Year 11 classes.

- An excellent teacher who is passionate about learning and has strong subject knowledge;
- A keen advocate for the importance of history education as part of the curriculum;
- Have a high level of teaching experience and delivery of results, or are a Newly Qualified Teacher looking for their first position;

All of our pupils have access to their very own Chromebook which enables them to take ownership over their own learning and means that they are able to challenge themselves further. The Chromebooks are an integral part of our teaching and learning at the academy meaning that we are shaping the future for our children in the digital age. This also means that our staff have access to a wealth of digital training opportunities and will gain certification in Google as well as in many other digital tools.
