What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking to appoint a qualified teacher of history who shares our passion for teaching and learning and can instill a love of the subject in our students. History is an exciting, forward looking and successful subject area at Netherthorpe School. This is reflected in the results of the department, which are consistently significantly above national averages, as well as our large uptake at both GCSE and A level. The distinct identity of the History department is shaped by the emphasis on high expectations and the excellent pedagogical skills and knowledge of the team.
