  • A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Teacher of History, working alongside and learning from experienced practitioners. We have a high GCSE uptake in History, so the successful candidate will teach across both KS3 and KS4. The History results have shown an increasing trend since 2019 which is a result of the challenge, high expectations and commitment we have to creating scholars. We operate an open door policy, enabling you to observe others and we encourage staff to use our technology available to record themselves and share best practice. This has allowed us to build a library of staff delivering best practice in our context to support staff in their development. Alongside this support, you will receive regular training in the form of whole school CPD, bespoke masterclasses for ECTs and access to our Research Book Club. We actively encourage our staff to engage with current research and ask all our ECT to participate.
