Teacher of History job summary
We are seeking to appoint a qualified History teacher who has the potential to make a significant contribution in an already highly successful department. The successful applicant will be expected to teach throughout both Key Stages 3 and 4 and will be involved in the planning and delivery of lessons which build on previous success and continues to raise students’ attainment. A willingness to make a contribution to Sixth Form teaching may also be desirable. He/she will also work collaboratively with members of staff outside the department and will support whole school policies and initiatives.
Those appointed will be expected to take a full part in the whole life of the school and the delivery of the Academy Improvement Plan.
