We are seeking a teacher who has the subject knowledge, skills and drive to make a significant contribution to this already thriving and popular subject area. You will be passionate about History and Politics and committed to securing excellent outcomes for children of all abilities. You will be keen to teach 'knowledge rich' enquiries into global and local histories that reflect the varied family histories of our students, and contribute to department CPD around this. You will also be keen to foster critical historical consciousness among our pupils from age 11 to 18 both within the classroom and across the school, as well as develop alongside the Head of Department, Schemes of Work at KS3. As a highly dedicated and innovative professional, you will join a dynamic team of teaching and associate staff, all determined to ensure that the school maintains its reputation for excellence.

This post would be suitable for an NQT or an experienced teacher.
