Teacher of History job summary
We are looking for someone with a passion for History and a commitment to making a difference to the lives of our pupils. We require an inspiring classroom practitioner who will ensure that our pupils make outstanding progress across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. This position would be suited to someone who strives for excellence, is keen to keep up to date with best practice, and has a drive for continuous improvement to join our strong and supportive team.
The successful candidate will also have the ability to deliver lessons within the other areas of Humanities, including Geography and RE.
Hollingworth Academy is now one of two schools in the recently formed Hollingworth Learning Trust along with Newhouse Academy. Hollingworth Learning Trust’s core purpose is to make a positive difference to the lives of its children. Its role as a sponsor of both schools is to provide the support, challenge, expertise and resources necessary to significantly improve the provision for education.
