Your opportunity

It is the aim of the History department to deliver an education of benefit to every pupil. All pupils are encouraged and enabled to reach their potential within the subject. All are expected to acquire a range of skills, historical and otherwise, and a breadth of knowledge and understanding of the subject. Pupils are further encouraged to develop a mature approach to study and a sense of responsibility for their own learning.

The department consists of four specialist history teachers who work closely as a team, within the humanities faculty. The department is well provided with teaching resources.
