What skills and experience we're looking for

Essential features of the successful candidate:

  • The ability to teach History at both Key Stage 3 and 4
  • The ability to teach some Values in Practice which forms part of our PHSE
  • An ability to monitor and track progress of all groups using data analysis
  • Enthusiasm to contribute to the historical enrichment of students
  • An ability to contribute to a developing curriculum
  • Interest in using creative techniques to engage students in the subject
  • A willingness to collaborate and learn from one another as a team
  • An interest in supporting students of all abilities so that they can access life to full for everyone
