The successful candidate will be committed to outstanding standards in teaching and learning and have a passion for working with young people. It is an ideal post for a newly qualified teacher or someone looking to further their career.
History is part of a larger, well-resourced humanities faculty and both subjects are popular choices. The capacity to offer a second subject would be an advantage as would the ability to teach history up to A Level.
We can offer excellent working conditions, a supportive environment and plenty of opportunity for further development, at one of the most successful comprehensive schools in the country. The superb facilities include a sports complex with subsidised membership for staff.
