Netherhall School was rated as ‘Good’ across all aspects in 2018, the first-ever overall rating of ‘Good’ in its history, which was the fastest turnaround by a school judged as ‘Inadequate’ to ‘Good’ under the previous Ofsted framework; at that point, it was the only secondary or primary school in the north of England to have achieved this feat.

Subsequently, the school was named as Cumbrian Secondary School of the Year 2018 and is home to Cumbrian Teaching Professional of the Year 2019 and Cumbrian Student of the Year 2019.

Netherhall School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be subject to pre-employment checks including an enhanced DBS (CRB) check.
