Hours per week: Full time, 32.5 hours per week
. We also consider applicants who are interested in part time hours
Weeks per year: Term time only, plus 5 staff training days

The role and what we are looking for:
History is a popular subject throughout all phases at our academy, and therefore we are looking for someone who can bring our past back to life through engaging and exciting lessons. You will support our Head of History to grow and develop the department with plenty of opportunity to make your mark. We need someone who will set high expectations for teaching and learning, inspire students to love learning, and challenge our young people to think in new ways. You must be willing to model and support the Oasis ethos.

Our academy:
We are a large secondary academy and sixth form based across two specialist campuses on the Isle of Sheppey in Kent.
