Our History results at GCSE and A level are exceptional, with 86% achieving grade 9-4 at GCSE and 84% achieving A*-B at A level. History is a subject which attracts very large student numbers at Key Stage 4 and 5 and it is one of the most popular subjects for students to pursue at university, with a notable number attaining entry to Oxbridge and other world class universities. Politics at KS5 is equally as successful, with two classes in each of Year 12 and 13. The faculty comprises of five teachers, all of whom are history specialists. This is an outstanding opportunity for someone who wants to join a high performing school and gain significant experience to further enhance their career. Whilst it is a fixed term contract in the first instance, there is a possibility that the role could become permanent in the future.
