  • Has experience teaching History at Secondary level.
  • Demonstrates excellent subject knowledge and a passion for History.

  • Can work effectively as part of a team and independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the national curriculum for Key Stage 5. This would include Humanities.
  • Assess and track students' progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to the wider History department, supporting curriculum development and participating in departmental meetings.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, maintaining high expectations for student behaviour and progress.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to ensure student success.
