Walker Riverside Academy, a ‘Good school with many outstanding aspects’ (Ofsted Inspection September 2017), is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, innovative Teacher of History with a high level of professional and interpersonal skills. The ability to teach across the full age and ability range is essential, along with a willingness to teach other humanities if necessary. You would be joining a successful department and wider staff body who have their students’ success at the heart of their teaching. This was recognised by OFSTED in the 2017 report; “leaders and governors are determined that every pupil should succeed and meet their potential, regardless of any barriers. All staff treat pupils with respect and are committed to providing them with a high standard of education. They are proud to work at the school and as a result morale is high.”
