What We’re Looking For
We are looking for a creative, vibrant, and inspirational History teacher who:
- Is passionate about delivering an engaging History curriculum at KS3 and GCSE.
- Has excellent subject knowledge and is committed to high standards of teaching and learning.
- Believes in the potential of every student and is dedicated to removing barriers to learning.
- Can work effectively as part of a supportive team and contribute to our school’s ethos and wider life.
Experience of teaching across the 11–16 age range and a strong commitment to safeguarding and student welfare is essential.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Planning and delivering high-quality History lessons that inspire, challenge, and motivate pupils.
- Assessing, monitoring, and tracking pupil progress using school systems.
- Contributing to curriculum planning and development within the department.
- Participating fully in school life, including extra-curricular activities and pastoral responsibilities.
