What We’re Looking For

We are looking for a creative, vibrant, and inspirational History teacher who:

  • Is passionate about delivering an engaging History curriculum at KS3 and GCSE.
  • Has excellent subject knowledge and is committed to high standards of teaching and learning.
  • Believes in the potential of every student and is dedicated to removing barriers to learning.
  • Can work effectively as part of a supportive team and contribute to our school’s ethos and wider life.

Experience of teaching across the 11–16 age range and a strong commitment to safeguarding and student welfare is essential.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Planning and delivering high-quality History lessons that inspire, challenge, and motivate pupils.
  • Assessing, monitoring, and tracking pupil progress using school systems.
  • Contributing to curriculum planning and development within the department.
  • Participating fully in school life, including extra-curricular activities and pastoral responsibilities.
