Teacher of Humanities (2 full time posts - geography and history) job summary
We are looking for two creative and ambitious teachers of humanities to join our small and friendly department, where your own expertise and enthusiasm will further enhance the successes of this high profile and high achieving faculty. These posts are suitable for both newly qualified and more experienced teachers.
As a teacher of humanities, specialising in either geography or history, you will be dedicated to raising standards to ensure continued improvement in the quality of teaching and learning. You should be passionate about raising student achievement and ensuring every student reaches their full potential by planning, delivering, monitoring, evaluating and developing appropriately inspiring broad and differentiated lessons.
The successful candidates will be highly motivated, innovative and creative classroom practitioners with an in-depth subject knowledge, demonstrating the ability and aptitude to teach their subjects to a very high standard. You will be someone who believes they can make a difference to the lives of young people, not only enthusing them about humanities, but also able to evidence excellent results for their students at GCSE.
