About this Role
The Humanities Department at The Deepings School has designed its curriculum to help students learn about the key historical, geographical and religious issues of the day in a way which is enquiry based.
The Humanities Department has a suite of dedicated classrooms and also a generously proportioned staff workroom with access to computers. The successful applicant will join a dedicated team of professionals in a department that is proud of its collaborative and supportive approach, and which aims to get the best from our students in ways that are intellectually demanding, creative and stimulating.
You will have:
- a good degree and Qualified Teacher Status
- the ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities and from all backgrounds
- a passion for humanities which shows in your classroom practice
- the ability to guide students through their academic and personal development
