Teacher of Humanities job summary
We are seeking to appoint a part time teacher of humanities for the remainder of this academic year.
We are looking for a passionate and ambitious Humanities Teacher who inspires students and supports them in making excellent progress. Applicants must have a knowledge of at least one aspect of the humanities curriculum (RE, History or Geography) across key stages 3 and 4 and be committed to working collaboratively in a strong, hard-working and forward-thinking department. A specialism in RE teaching would be desirable but is not essential.
This post would suit an Early Career Teacher but is equally suited to a more experienced colleague. For Early Career Teachers, the full induction programme will be delivered through Ambition Institute and extensive opportunities for CPD both within school and across the trust will be made available to all candidates.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our thriving school and work alongside a friendly and committed staff body and supportive senior leadership team.
Commitment to safeguarding
The Blackdown Education Partnership is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all who work here to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be subject to employment checks, including an Enhanced DBS disclosure.
