We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Key Stage 3 Humanities teacher who would like to be part of a forward-looking team, focused on developing exciting and engaging learning experiences for all students. The successful candidate will be required to teach Geography and RE at Key Stage 3 with the potential for delivering an area of specialist Humanities at Key Stage 4 or 5 should this be something you wish to consider. The Social Science, and Geography departments are all friendly and welcoming teams, who are committed to providing high quality teaching and a breadth of rich experience for the young people who take these subjects.
For us, teaching humanities equips students with invaluable skills essential for navigating the complexities of the world. We are looking for someone who understands the importance of these subjects for fostering critical thinking, empathy and an understanding of human experiences across cultures and time periods. We want someone who can ignite students' curiosity, broaden their perspectives, and empower them to become informed, compassionate citizens capable of shaping a brighter future.
You will be joining KSA at a time where we are setting out an ambitious plan for the future based around three key themes of belonging, reflection, and collaboration. Ultimately, we exist to enable everyone connected with the school to be the best they can be.
