As a result of increasing pupil numbers we have an exciting opportunity for a talented History teacher who is ambitious to develop their teaching as part of a warm, friendly and experienced team. The successful candidate will be committed to a collaborative approach and be able to contribute to a variety of innovative approaches including; curriculum design, teaching strategies, use of technology and intervention programmes. A determination to make a positive difference to students is essential.

We are happy to accept applications from teachers at any stage in their career, and this role is particularly suited to an NQT.

We are an 11-18 Foundation School located on the border of the Nottinghamshire Borough of Broxtowe and Nottingham City. We have a roll of 900.

We have joint usage of the Olympia Leisure Centre which is a thriving leisure centre, serving the local community as well as our own students. The school is located on a stunning 30 acre site. Attenborough Nature Reserve, the Chilwell Manor Golf Club and Attenborough village border our grounds. Unusually, we also have a lake on site which is populated with a wide variety of wildlife.
