Teacher of Humanities job summary

Vacancy for Teacher of Humanities
Salary: MPS/UPS
Location: King's Lynn

Job Summary
King’s Lynn Academy is an 11-16 secondary based in the heart of King’s Lynn in West Norfolk. This popular, friendly Academy will reach over 1000 pupils in September.

Due to the sustained growth in pupil numbers, and the Academy being oversubscribed the last three years and for September 2021, there is need to expand our teaching establishment to meet demand.

All academy staff are supported by a highly visible leadership team who over the last eighteen months have placed a huge emphasis on higher expectations of pupils. Curricular is developed and it is the intention that these roles advertised enable staff to collaboratively work together to plan and develop teaching resources further.

As part of Eastern Multi-Academy Trust there are opportunities to access training programmes and qualifications to prepare for middle or senior management over time and wider opportunities to access apprenticeship programmes.

The estate is bright, clean and airy with ample free parking for staff. The Academy has strong links with the community and is expecting further growth in pupil numbers in the years to come.
