Due to the ever growing popularity of Humanities subjects of history, geography, and RE, and excellent outcomes we are growing our Humanities department. Weare now recruiting for aTeacher of Humanitiesto join our thriving academy fromJanuary 2025.For the successful candidate we can offer the opportunity to join a collaborative team and wider Trust with highly experienced teachers and leaders working in the department. We have excellent grades across the subjects and year groups, but there is always room for progress of which our successful candidate will play a pivotal part in. We are looking for an inspirational, energetic and reflective individual who is passionate about developing excellent levels of attainment and achievement across the board.We provide a supportive student experience and work closely with other departments and pastoral teams to ensure an enjoyable education for all learners.

What the school offers its staff
Being part of Leigh Academies Trust:As of 1st September2024, our Trust comprises 33geographically organised academies (17secondaries, 14 primaries and 2 special) educating more than 24,000 students and employing 4,000 talented staff. Nearly 40% of our academies are judged outstanding overall by Ofsted, versus 15% nationally. The Trust is establishing three‘clusters’ of academies: LAT Central; LAT West; LAT North.
