What skills and experience we're looking for
-
Degree in a relevant subject area (E).
Post - degree teacher training qualification with QTS status. PCET will be considered if QTLS is achieved or to be achieved (E).
Experience of delivering the IT/iMedia at KS4 (E).
Knowledge and experience in providing positive and targeted support to students with special educational needs. (E)
Experience and knowledge of teaching IT at KS5 (D)
Experience of promoting good, behaviour, attendance and punctuality and make use of the systems in place to support this (E).

An ability to lead and inspire pupils of all ages and abilities (E).
Strong teambuilding capability (with staff and students) and a participative and open approach to work and management (E).
Ability to effectively manage student’s behaviour both in the classroom and around school. (E)
Ability to provide good outstanding teaching. (E)
Experience of using a range of teaching and learning strategies for whole classes, individuals and groups which stimulate, challenge, engage and motivate students. (E)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability. (E)
Have the highest of expectations for yourself and your students (E).
Flexible and adaptable with a can do attitude (E).
Good judgement in knowing when to highlight/ escalate issues (E)
A willingness to personally embrace and celebrate the ethos and values of the Trust (E).
To proactively take the time to develop yourself and (where applicable) others through training, coaching, mentoring etc. (E).
Ability to meet deadlines. (E)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills (E).
