An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Teacher of IT for the position of Second in IT/Business, Computer Science TLR 2a £3,391

 

Bilton School is an exciting ethnically mixed vibrant 1-18 comprehensive with approximately 1120 students. Ofsted (2021) graded the school as ‘good’ in all areas and found that relationships between pupils and staff are incredibly positive. In addition, Students’ personal development is very well supported at the school with staff having high expectations for all. In 2023 our Year 11 cohort achieved a P8 score of +0.44. Outcomes were strong across the department with Interactive Media +1.77, Business +0.99 and Computer Science +0.4.

 

The IT/Business and Computer Science department is one the strongest in the school, with an excellent Head of Department and a team of experienced and ECT teachers. All our teachers are very supportive of each other, and we always end the day with a laugh!

 

In this role as second in department we are looking for.

·        A kind and confident colleague who thinks ‘out of the box’ and will bring new ideas at departmental and whole school level.

·        A leader who is committed to contributing towards the extra-curricular life of the school.
