Teacher of ICT & Computer Science job summary

 We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, inspirational and committed teacher of ICT & Computer Science who is keen to motivate students, build their confidence and make learning engaging.  This post would be suitable for either an NQT or an established teacher. 
 
The successful candidate will have: 
  • The ability to teach KS3, KS4 and KS5 ICT & Computer Science
  • The ability to teach A level Programming
  • The ability to enthuse, inspire and motivate students
  • The ability to teach students to use a wide variety of software at all key stages
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • An appropriate qualification, preferably with a Computer-related degree, or good experience of teaching Computer Science to a high standard
  • Secondary QTS (or working towards)
  • A commitment to continuous professional development
