An exciting opportunity has arisen for an outstanding newly qualified or experienced teacher to join our successful school and teach ICT & Computing from Easter or September 2020. Computer Science and Creative iMedia are very popular subjects in our school, and there is strong uptake at GCSE. This is an exciting position for a dynamic and hardworking individual to contribute to the outstanding education provided to all our students and contribute to their excellent achievement. We are an Ofsted Outstanding rated school with our own Teaching School status.
The successful candidate must be able to teach GCSE Computer Science and Cambridge Nationals Creative iMedia. Staff are friendly and supportive, and committed to ensuring all students achieve their potential. The successful candidate should be an outstanding teacher.
You will be working in close partnership with colleagues from the Design and Enterprise team to deliver innovative and inspiring lessons presently across KS3, with the opportunity for KS4 in September. The department moved into a new building in 2015 which benefits from a large workshop area, CAD/CAM equipment, 3D laser cutter, ICT suites, engineering area, and a graphics/teaching room. We pride ourselves on delivering exciting and interesting projects which are then displayed in our successful summer exhibition.

o access to our exceptional Teaching School CPD programme
• support for staff who wish to pursue a Masters in Education in their second year with us.
NQTs will also be offered the opportunity to do paid work in July in order to ensure they have the most positive start to their career.
Experienced teachers can also look forward to a high quality induction package and a wide range of CPD opportunities offered by our Teaching School status and promotion opportunities within the wider family of CMAT schools.
