Teacher of ICT and Computer Science/Business
Required for 1 September 2024, a well-qualified and enthusiastic
teacher to join our Computing and Business Department.
The department offers a range of GCSE and Cambridge National courses at Key
Stage 4 as well as A levels at Key Stage 5. The post holder will be required to
teach ICT at Key Stage 3 as well as courses in Computer Science and/or Business
at Key Stage 4. The ability to teach at A level is an advantage.
This post is advertised as a permanent full time appointment but
part time applications will be considered. Applications are welcome from
teachers at any stage in their career; also from early career teachers, for
whom the school runs a comprehensive induction programme.
William Farr is a popular, rural comprehensive school. The school
gained academy status in 2011 and has approximately 1450 students on roll. In
2022 OFSTED judged the school to be good in all categories in its first
inspection since 2009.
