Teacher of IT (Maternity Cover) job summary
We require a well-qualified and enthusiastic teacher of IT to join our dedicated, friendly and hardworking team.
The IT department currently offers courses in OCR Cambridge Nationals in IT at Level 2 and BTEC IT at Level 3. There are six IT teaching classrooms, and student uptake in this subject is high.
The successful candidate would need to be able to apply Microsoft Office software applications at GCSE and A’ Level in project scenarios. These applications include MS Access, MS Excel, MS Publisher, MS PowerPoint, MS Word. Other desirable skills include being proficient with Dreamweaver and photo editing software applications.
The Academy received an ‘Outstanding’ grade in all categories from OfSTED in December 2018 and we are a designated National Teaching School and National Support School. This is a very exciting time to be joining a highly motivated and successful team.
