What skills and experience we're looking for

For September 2025, we are looking for:

a confident, positive and highly flexible teacher who can support and engage students through making trusting relationships with them and who is committed to ensuring students with SEND achieve the best outcomes

•a teacher with a passion for working with young people with SEND and with an interest in developing their skills in using a range of approaches to teaching and supporting students with a wide range of needs

•an energetic individual who is enthusiastic about moving into this wide-ranging role, who embraces change and will relish joining our team and playing their part in further developing our best practice.


Applications are welcomed from teachers with any previous subject or key stage specialism. Previous relevant experience may be an advantage but is not a pre-requisite for this role. There are potential further opportunities for the successful candidate including the coordination of EAL across the school.

Learning Support at Hazelwick


The Learning Support Team at Hazelwick is a passionate, dynamic and creative team of committed individuals at the heart of the school community. Our key role is to ensure the inclusive education and effective support for students with SEND. We are highly regarded and involved in many aspects of the running of the school including working closely with pastoral teams and academic staff.
