Job summary

TEACHER OF MANDARIN required from September 2021 (July 2021 if NQT)

(Fixed term contract for two years with the intention of the post becoming permanent thereafter if NQT).

Salary: Main pay  / upper (London fringe)

Unique opportunity for an ambitious teacher of Mandarin (ideally with the ability to also teach Spanish) with a ‘can do’ attitude looking to secure a role in the most dynamic environment.

We are looking for enthusiastic and ambitious teachers who will help shape our school by:

  • Being passionate about their subject, learning as a lifelong skill, and open to innovative approaches in everyday aspects of school life

  • Using research-driven teaching methods

  • Being committed to securing the best outcomes for all students

  • Offering enrichment and extra-curricular experiences related to their subject and beyond

  • Being flexible in their approach to work and adapting to new challenges

What we can offer you

The ethos of our school will focus on enabling every student to make outstanding progress and this will be mirrored for our staff.  With only years 7-9 (September 2021) and year on year growth thereafter, you will have the capacity and will be afforded the time/support to enhance and develop your teaching skills and contribute to the wider life of the school.

All our staff will have access to mentoring and CPD opportunities both in house and within our wider partner community.

If you share our belief that young people have the right to a transformational educational experience that will enable them to fulfil their potential and realise their ambitions, then we look forward to hearing from you.

We are committed to the safeguarding and promotion of children’s welfare and an equal opportunities employer.  We will need to obtain references in advance on any candidate short-listed for interview and all job offers are subject to satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service clearance.
