What skills and experience we're looking for

Millthorpe School is seeking to appoint an inspirational and highly effective teacher to join our mathematics department. Candidates must have a keen interest in the research behind successful teaching and how this can be applied to a mathematics classroom.

The successful candidate must possess the ability to teach across the age and ability range, and be committed to ensuring our students are taught with a depth of understanding to enable them to make significant progress over time. It would also be advantageous for the successful candidate to be able to teach computing.

The Mathematics Department currently consists of five full-time members of staff and one part-time. The Department has a wealth of experienced teachers and a couple of teachers newer to the profession.

The post will provide an opportunity for a qualified and dynamic teacher to join a successful Mathematics Department that is determined to excel.
