Teacher of Mathematics job summary

Teign School is looking for a well-qualified and enthusiastic teacher to join our successful Maths department, and is excited by the thought of improving their teaching.

We are looking for a full-time candidate to teach at Key Stages 3 and 4; there may be the possibility to teach Post 16 for a suitable candidate.

We expect to appoint someone who is:

  • knowledgeable and passionate about Maths, and all aspects of Maths education;
  • ideally able to teach Key Stages, 3, 4 & 5;
  • able to enthuse, engage, motivate and challenge students;
  • have the highest expectations for all young people;
  • able to work innovatively to raise achievement at all levels;
  • self-motivated with excellent interpersonal skills;
  • able to work as part of a team yet has individual skills and initiative.
