What skills and experience we're looking for
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in mathematics or a related field (essential).
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
- A postgraduate degree or additional qualifications in education (desired).
Experience:
- Proven experience teaching mathematics across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
- Successful track record of improving student achievement in mathematics.
- Familiarity with modern teaching methodologies and educational technology.
Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
- Adaptability and a willingness to embrace innovative teaching methods.
- Proficient in using technology for instructional purposes.
Personal Attributes:
- Passionate about mathematics education and student success.
- Patient, empathetic, and able to motivate and inspire students.
- Continuous learner with a growth mindset.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
Other Requirements:
