What skills and experience we're looking for
Kesgrave High School is looking for a Teacher of Mathematics full-time/part-time permanent from September 2024. This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful and committed team of subject specialists. The department has a great sense of team spirit, support and collaboration, and are dedicated to ensuring our students achieve the highest possible outcomes. Kesgrave High School is a large 11-19 school which has over 1850 students on roll, including over 320 students in the Sixth Form where Mathematics is a popular subject.
The Mathematics Department at Kesgrave High School has a vacancy for an enthusiastic teacher of Mathematics from September 2024. All members of the team contribute to the teaching of the AQA GCSE and OCR A Level.
The successful candidate should be able to teach Mathematics across Years 10-13 with an option to support the other subjects offered in the department, and should also be prepared to support and develop the awareness of the subjects and the extra-curricular activities for the department.
The Mathematics department has an impressive range of facilities, including well-resourced teaching rooms and resource areas. We also have the benefit of full reprographic and administrative support.
