Teacher of Mathematics job summary
Millthorpe School is seeking to appoint an inspirational and highly effective teacher to join our mathematics department. Candidates must have a keen interest in the research behind successful teaching and how this can be applied to a mathematics classroom.
The successful candidate must possess the ability to teach across the age and ability range, and be committed to ensuring our students are taught with a depth of understanding to enable them to make significant progress over time.
The department is staffed by six teachers of varying experience. This post will provide an opportunity for a well-qualified and dynamic teacher to join a successful mathematics department that is determined to excel.

The hours for this role are flexible, and we will consider applications from candidates looking for between 0.5 FTE to 1.0 FTE.
This is a fixed term role until 31 August 2023. Millthorpe School will be looking to recruit for a permanent Teacher of Mathematics to join us in September 2023.
Interviews will take place on Friday 21 October 2022.
