What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Teacher of Maths and Physical Education, who can inspire an attitude of discovery and encourage students to integrate subjects and ideas to become innovators in their field. The successful candidate will share our values, be passionate about their subjects and inspire all students to share their enthusiasm for Maths and Physical Education.
Mathematics aims to equip all students with the knowledge and skills required to become a successful mathematician and critical thinkers. Our aim is to build mathematicians who have a deep conceptual understanding, which builds upon their prior knowledge of mathematics, develops fluency and provides students with the tools and knowledge required to apply mathematics to solve problems in real-life contexts.
Physical Education and keeping active is vital for children’s personal development as well as being important for their mental and physical health. Sport and physical activity can boost their ability to cope with challenges and their resilience. PE is a very important part of a broad and balanced education giving our students life skills they will carry with them throughout their lifetime

The post holder will work as part of Baxter College improvement team to:
Improve the quality of teaching and learning through subject-specific professional development
Ensure our students experience a high-quality, enriched curriculum that inspires
Increase the cultural and social capital of our learners through extracurricular activities
Support collaborative, shared strategy for improvement in schools.
Support school improvement initiatives in the trust.
