The Role:
As a Teacher of Mathematics, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality and engaging mathematics lessons to students at the secondary school level. You will inspire a love for mathematics, foster critical thinking, and contribute to the overall academic success of our students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver effective and differentiated mathematics lessons.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
- Assess and provide constructive feedback on student progress.
- Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the development of the mathematics curriculum.
- Participate in school events, parent-teacher events, and professional development activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in mathematics or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
- Proven experience teaching mathematics at the secondary school level.
- Familiarity with the UK National Curriculum and examination boards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
