What skills and experience we're looking for
We hope to employ a full time Mathematics Teacher who is confident to teach at across the Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach in Key Stage 5 if you are interested. We welcome ECT applicants, considering you to be an investment in the future. Our current staff base has a spread of age and experience, which is a deliberate choice. Every teacher leads classes of different abilities so that the successful candidate will quickly increase and deepen their range of experience. We believe that success in Mathematics is essential in today’s world. As a team, we seek to inspire our students to appreciate, not only the functional aspects of Mathematics, but also the intrinsic beauty of the subject and hope to develop their love of Maths. The department is large, lively, extremely conscientious and enthusiastic. We are working hard to develop innovative and creative approaches to teaching and learning and look forward to the contributions a new member of staff will bring.

Department. Our aim is to inspire children of all ability
levels to enjoy Maths and reach their full potential.
We have a very strong team of teachers and both
Maths and Further Maths are popular subjects at A
Level, with an increasing number of other students
electing to do Core Maths to support the Maths in
their A level’s in other subjects . The Department
has specialist teaching rooms and access to a variety
of online applications for students. Each classroom
has an interactive whiteboard and a wide range
of specialist pack-ages are utilised throughout the
curriculum.
