The National Academy ethos, ‘Life in all its fullness’, underlines our commitment to the education of the whole of the child, with the development of our students’ character and cultural capital as important as their academic progress. Accordingly, committed to the wellbeing of our students and staff alike, we pride ourselves on our duty of care to both. Working at The National Academy will be a vocation where our children are at the centre of all that we do and where we value and support all who walk through our gates.

Accordingly, we are looking for an inspiring and creative teacher who is passionate about mathematics and wants to share their passion with our students. This is a fabulous opportunity for either a confident and ambitious ECT or a more experienced teacher who wants to develop their career. This is a full time, fixed term contract for 1 year position. The appointed candidate will have the opportunity to teach at all levels from year 7 to year 13.

The successful applicant will work in the faculty of maths and computing, which is a highly successful, popular and forward-thinking faculty. If appointed, the applicant will benefit from the following:

• Full support and induction;

• Excellent purpose-built post 16 facilities;

Closing date for applications: 9am on Friday 8th July 2022 unless we receive a suitable applicant in advance of that in which case we reserve the right to close the vacancy early.

The Minster Trust for Education is committed to safeguarding children and the promotion of equal opportunities for staff and students. The successful applicant will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check and complete a KCSIE Declaration.
