This post is suitable for an ECT or a more experienced teacher. As a Teacher of Mathematics at Havant Academy you will be required to:
Deliver high quality Mathematics lessons to our students aged 11-16
Plan and tailor lessons which address the full range of learners needs
Have high expectations of all pupils so that they are able to achieve their academic potential
Have a good working knowledge and understanding of a range of teaching, learning and assessment strategies
Partake in the Academies rewards and behaviour systems
Be an enthusiastic and effective tutor by creating an inclusive and safe environment, fostering good home/school relations, monitoring your tutees attendance and progress and delivering the tutor PSHE programme.
