  • Full time - Normal working hours during term time and training days will be 8.15am – 5.15pm Monday – Thursday and 8.15am – 3.45pm on Friday. Full-time/Part-time will be considered.

• Full-time equivalent salary: Main or upper pay range, as appropriate

What skills and experience we're looking for

• QTS status
• Qualification to the equivalent of degree level in Maths or a related subject
• Experience with teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4
• Have excellent classroom management which is based on good relationships and driven by appropriately pitched mathematics lessons
• Good classroom practitioner who engages and motivate students
• Receive and act upon feedback to improve one’s teaching
• Utilise student previous and current data to close gaps in knowledge and unpick misconceptions
• To uphold the teaching code of conduct within the classroom and around the school
• Integrity
• Determination to encourage the highest quality of learning experience for all students
• A commitment to equal opportunities
• Ability to establish good and productive working relationships, and work well in a team
