Teacher of Mathematics job summary
We are recruiting for an inspirational teacher with the skills, energy and enthusiasm to enhance the mathematical abilities and outcomes of our students across key stages 3, 4 and 5. We expect you to be a strong classroom practitioner with a range of teaching skills and to be able to formulate strategies for improved teaching and learning. You will strive to make a significant contribution to the department and across the school along with our collaborative team of teachers and support staff.
You will understand the difference a great education can make to the lives of pupils and be a positive role model for students and colleagues alike. You will provide a nurturing classroom environment that helps pupils develop as learners and thinkers. We are looking for a practitioner who will inspire and enthuse students by delivering an ambitious and enriched curriculum.You will be responsible for the planning and delivery of high quality lessons across your department, enabling our students to achieve excellent results and instilling in them a love for the subject and a desire to learn.
We are currently on a journey of improvement and require highly motivated, passionate and committed people to help us drive a culture of continuous and sustained improvement in all educational areas. You must be educated to degree level or above with the required teaching certification and have experience in delivering consistently outstanding lessons to pupils of all ages and abilities. You will need to be a strong team player who demonstrates resilience, character and drive.
