    Requirements:

    • To apply for the Teacher of Mathematics role, you must hold a relevant degree and Qualified Teacher Status.
    • Good knowledge of the pedagogy associated with the subject.
    • An understanding of the social, emotional, and intellectual development of teenagers.
    • Have an understanding of working with different groups e.g., the most able, the disadvantaged and SEND.
    • Ability to teach to KS3 and KS4.

About the Mathematics Department:

At Caister, we pride ourselves in having an amazing group of people who work directly within mathematics. Consisting of six teachers, with lead practitioners and raising achievement mentors alike - we work as a collective to better the outcomes of students across the academy. With links to school departments across the county with our links to the East Mathematics Community, we consider ourselves a key player in changing student perspectives in the subject.
