Teacher of Mathematics job summary
All of our teachers play an important role in the life and development of the school. We are looking to appoint a talented, dynamic teacher who is committed to pupils’ fulfilling their potential.
The Mathematics department at Moat Community college is a successful and supportive department. Considerable investment has ensured that the department is innovative in its approaches to Teaching and Learning, the department is well resourced with a detailed and robust scheme of learning. There is a strong focus upon mastery in Year 7 and 8. Our department produce great results for our students and over the last three years have shown considerable progress. We are looking for someone who can join our Maths Team to further improve our outcomes. We empower staff to deliver great lessons through a high expectations culture within the school that supports them in managing behaviour effectively through strong systems.
This post offers teaching Mathematics across all key stages and abilities as well as other general responsibilities in the school, as agreed with the Principal and Head of Department.
