Teacher of Mathematics job summary
We are looking to appoint a Teacher of Mathematics who is committed to further raising standards and who is prepared to be part of an established and effective team. An interest in teaching ICT or Computing would be an advantage but not a requirement for the position. The individual must have an enthusiasm for teaching, learning and the progression of young people. The role is available from January but start date is negotiable for the right candidate. Part-time hours will also be considered.
You will plan and deliver learning to students, so that all ‘Dream Big and Achieve’. This will involve developing a strong understanding of the curriculum, planning to meet students’ needs, delivering learning in the most effective manner and ensuring effective feedback. Through this vital role you will be able to ensure students develop a love for your subject and achieve excellent results. All of the above will be achieved through working as part of a team who values the abilities of all and works together to develop the best possible learning.
