What skills and experience we're looking for
Successfully teaching across the secondary age and ability using a variety and range of teaching and learning styles. (Desirable)
Successfully teaching Maths in one or more UK state secondary schools at both Key Stages 3 and 4 as a qualified teacher (Desirable)
Using data to inform teaching.
Understanding what outstanding teaching looks like.
Excellent classroom practitioner with a real passion for the subject and an ability to communicate that passion.
Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
Good organisational skills
Ability to plan, organise and adapt.
Excellent IT skills
Genuine passion and belief in the potential of every student
The ability to demonstrate unconditional positive regard towards young people
Commitment to the responsibility for and practices concerned with the safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.

For a September 2024 start, join our talented and dedicated team as a Teacher of Mathematics - With a passion for teaching, combined with a flair for all things numerical could you inspire our students and help them achieve the best possible outcome.
For the right candidate, the role carries with it a Teaching and Learning Responsibility working with the Head of Mathematics to further develop the pedagogy and curriculum for KS3 to secure curriculum progress.
Our aim is to ensure that our students are given every opportunity to reach their full potential, regardless of their background. With this in mind, we are looking to appoint a teacher who shares our vision for a learning environment and curriculum that is ambitious as well as supportive and nurturing.
