Are you an exceptional and committed teacher of mathematics who is seeking to work within a supportive, forward thinking and successful department? As a key member of the team, you will have the ability to teach across key stages 3 & 4.

We pride ourselves on being an innovative and successful department and are committed to delivering the syllabus through active learning. This is a fantastic opportunity for an energetic and enthusiastic teacher to join our team.

We want a teacher who shares our forward-thinking approach to teaching and learning and strives to achieve excellent results and maximise pupil progress. We have high aspirations for all our learners and aim to support our pupils in becoming independent, self-regulating learners who are confident, adept mathematicians with a life-long love of learning.

As a Microsoft Showcase School, we utilise e-learning platforms and our expertise in technology to support our teaching. The Mathematics Department is unapologetically ambitious; the team explores research to inform and expand our practice, using new ideas and strategies alongside effective and well-established teaching and learning methodology.

Our curriculum is rich and challenging and, with our evolving pedagogy, we really are extremely proud of what we do. As a large department we exhibit a breadth of knowledge and proficiency, enabling newly arriving members of staff to benefit from the wealth of experience around them.
